Contact or Contact With: Which One Is Correct?
Contact can be either a verb or a noun.
As a verb, it is transitive and therefore takes a direct object:
✅ Anyone with any information about the missing boy should contact the police.
❌ Anyone with any information about the missing boy should contact with the police.
✅ Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
❌ Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact with me.
Contact with someone is correct only when contact is used as a noun:
✅ We'll be in contact with you shortly.
✅ We are no longer in contact with each other.
✅ I finally made contact with her in London.
✅ The Internet helps people stay in contact with their friends.
